Pre-purchase Survey

Rinda Technologies Diagnostic Software This is the most comprehensive type of survey, and is strongly recommended when purchasing a new or used vessel. Whether your vessel is constructed of fiberglass, steel or aluminum, we have the equipment to serve your needs. The following aspects are covered in all surveys.

A written report will follow the survey, usually within 24 hours, to include all findings during survey, vessel's fair market value, and any recommendations on repairs or maintenance. Remember, once retained, the surveyor is there for you and no one else. I am to report my findings to only you.

Insurance Survey

This type of survey is performed so the insurance company can determine whether or not the vessel is an acceptable risk. They are interested in the structural integrity and safety for it's intended use. Most insurance companies will require a survey be performed on older boats. They also will need the fair market value.

Appraisal Inspection

This service is performed to determine fair market value of the vessel. It is normally needed for financing, estate settlements, donations and legal cases.
